The Disney Experiences Auction: Rare and Remarkable Finds takes place Sunday, August 16, 2026, during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim. A companion shopping experience will also sell limited-quantity props, artwork, and themed items from Disney Parks, Resorts, and cruise ships.
Guests can preview auction items throughout the event weekend inside The Disney Experiences Auction Showroom. Bidding will be open to fans at D23 and online, giving collectors outside Anaheim a way to participate.

Auction and showroom
The auction itself is scheduled for Sunday, August 16. Disney hasn’t released the bidding instructions yet and plans to share those details closer to the event.
The showroom will be open during the three-day D23 2026 Anaheim event, which runs Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16. Fans can use the space to see the auction pieces before Sunday’s sale. The showroom is described as an immersive experience rather than a simple display area.
This auction joins the larger D23 2026 show floor lineup.
Shopping experience
The companion shop is separate from the bidding process. It will offer rare and limited-quantity props, artwork, and themed items connected to Disney’s parks, resorts, and ships. Availability will be limited, so some products may sell out during the event.
The location won’t accept refunds or exchanges because its products are exclusive. Collectors should account for that final-sale policy when choosing items from the limited selection.

The auction shop is one part of an expanded D23 retail program. Other locations include the D23 Marketplace, The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey’s of Glendale, Disney .YNSD, and Disney Studio Store Hollywood.
How to enter
The Disney Experiences Auction location will use a virtual queue throughout the event. Capacity may book out, so access won’t remain available indefinitely. Joining the queue doesn’t grant immediate access to the location.
A standby queue may open only after all boarding groups have been redeemed. Until then, guests will need to use the virtual queue for entry.
The location will be cashless. Card and contactless payments will be accepted, along with merchandise mobile checkout.
Bidding details
Disney will communicate bidding instructions closer to the event. The auction is open to fans attending D23 and to bidders participating globally online, while the showroom preview runs throughout the event weekend.
For collectors, the practical split is simple: browse the showroom during the weekend, shop the limited-quantity selection through the event queue, and watch for separate bidding instructions before the Sunday auction.
