Disney is bringing a new Legacy Lightsaber Box Set to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa, running August 14 through August 16, 2026. The set is limited to 1,500 units worldwide.

Disney built the set around the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith scene where the Jedi confront the Sith lord Darth Sidious. That’s the moment the four hilts in this box share.
What’s in the box?
The set carries four lightsaber hilts: Jedi Master Mace Windu, Agen Kolar, Kit Fisto, and Saesee Tiin. Disney is selling all four together as one boxed set.
The display box does more than hold them. It lights up when opened, and it plays snippets of sound pulled from that same scene.

How limited is it?
Disney capped the run at 1,500 units globally. That’s a small number for an event this size, so anyone who wants one should treat it as a first-morning purchase rather than a last-day browse. The three-day D23 schedule fills up fast once the show floor opens.
Where can fans buy it?
The collectibles in this reveal go on sale on the D23 show floor from August 14 through August 16, 2026. Disney then points shoppers to DisneyStore.com/d23-event, where items from the event collection become available to purchase online beginning August 17, 2026.
Two more Star Wars pieces landed in the same reveal. The R7-D23 Droid Factory Figure wears its own Sorcerer Mickey hat, and the Polar Mouse Droid is a large remote control premium droid with authentic lights and sounds.
The same reveal reaches past Star Wars. Disney showed a Thor Stormbreaker Axe Relic and a Marvel Daredevil Mask, and a yellow variant of that mask is exclusive to the D23 Marketplace. Spider-Bot Figurines are in the lineup too, and Disney likens them to the Spider-Bots that crawl around Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure. The mini blue Spider-Bot comes straight from the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction.
Collectors also get a dedicated D23 Marketplace Pin Store, and Disney Fine Art will have a presence in the D23 Marketplace as well.
Disney has already revealed Small Kingdoms light up figures for the same three days.
Here’s the practical read: a 1,500 unit cap and an August 17 online date mean the box set can sell out on the show floor before most fans get a shot at it. If a lightsaber display piece is the goal, plan the D23 show floor early on August 14, and keep DisneyStore.com open as the backup on August 17.
