The Diamond Horseshoe is getting a limited-time pop-up this fall, and Disney shared a first taste of the menu on Wednesday, August 5. Think charcuterie, a hot honey lemonade, and a prickly pear margarita inside the saloon.
The savory charcuterie board is the centerpiece of what Disney has shown so far. It comes topped with cured beef, “fancy bacon,” and smoked pork, plus green chile cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles. More small plates are coming, and Disney hasn’t named them yet.
What drinks are coming to The Diamond Horseshoe?
Two so far, one for every age and one decidedly not.
The non-alcoholic option is a fancy lemonade built on Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with strawberry and hot honey, finished with a chili-lime rim. Hot honey and a chili-lime rim on a Magic Kingdom lemonade is a genuinely bold swing for a park where the default sweet drink is a DOLE Whip.
The margarita uses LALO Blanco Tequila, prickly pear, lime, and agave. Disney is calling out its pink color as much as the taste, which tells you exactly which drink is built for the phone before the first sip.
What happens to the Thanksgiving dinner at Diamond Horseshoe?
The family-style Thanksgiving dinner items that regulars associate with the saloon will still be available next door at Liberty Tree Tavern, so the tradition doesn’t disappear while the pop-up operates.
Do you need a reservation?
Not necessarily. Disney says walk-ups will still be welcomed, with reservation details coming later alongside more menu items. If you’re the type who plans Magic Kingdom dining months out, that’s a rare bit of flexibility on a limited-time offering.
“This fall” is all the window anyone has right now.
