Spooky season is year-round if you feel it in your heart – but if you like to wait until Halloween rolls around, then good news! Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced prices for its premier Halloween event. Halloween Horror Nights 2025 – the 34th event year – is officially here, and guests who have waited all year can finally purchase their Single-Night HHN Tickets and Extras via Universal Orlando Resort’s official ticketing website.

Universal has already announced two IPs to be featured at this year’s event, with Five Nights at Freddy’s and Fallout making their debuts earlier this week. With little expected to change over the course of this year’s HHN season, Universal has officially opened the virtual ticketing booth to purchase single-night experiences for Orlando’s hottest Halloween event, ensuring that guests can purchase their admission to all of HHN’s thrills and screams as soon as possible this year as the event itself is slated to start earlier than ever, on August 29th through November 2nd.

As with previous years, the event is only running on select nights and is subject to change or cancel without notice, but guests can typically expect this event to run every night except Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the season – though this year does include a substitution day, so keep an eye on that calendar!! Also when purchasing tickets, guests must take into account that the day of the week will impact the ticket price.

As expected, weekends are more expensive than weekday admission, though what guests get to experience throughout the weekday events is no different than the weekends. The weekends – Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays – are in much higher demand, however, and garner a higher price per ticket.

Ticketing prices also fluctuate based on when in the season guests are looking to experience this event. Opening weekend and the week leading up to Halloween have, historically, been in much higher demand, and thus demand higher ticketing prices.

To get a good idea of what Universal Orlando Resort is charging for single-night tickets and extras, check out the full event calendar.

Single Night Ticket Pricing

These prices are, as previously mentioned, only for single-night tickets, which guarantees admission to the event from event open to event close on that specific night. These tickets do not include things like the Scream Early add-on, which allows guests into the park up to three hours early to get a jump start on their favorite houses and scarezones before the general public are allowed in at event open, or the increasingly-popular Halloween Horror Nights Express Passes, which allow guests to bypass the standby queues for all houses and experiences (mostly recommended for guests looking to experience the entire event in one night).

These ticket prices also do not reflect the price of multi-night tickets like the popular Frequent Fear Pass, which allow guests to experience multiple nights of the event for one ticket price. As with previous years, it’s expected that multi-night tickets will be offered for purchase as we draw closer to the event itself.

For those looking to secure their tickets, but might not be sure what day they want to experience Halloween Horror Nights, tickets are available for purchase at the ticket gate of Universal Studios Florida – but buyer beware (you’re in for a scare!). Not only will tickets purchased at the gate be more expensive, but they’re also not guaranteed to be available! With an event this popular, tickets tend to sell out quickly. While planning in advance isn’t always possible, it’s always a good idea to secure your tickets in advance and online, when possible.

Premier Annual Passholders also get to enjoy a free night of Halloween Horror Nights as part of their annual pass perks. For more information about your annual pass benefits, and how to redeem your free night of Halloween Horror Nights admission, check out Universal’s official UOAP Benefits page [here.]

For those looking to check the price of Express Passes for Halloween Horror Nights, or to book an Unmasking the Horror Tour, an R.I.P. Tour, or a Scream Early Ticket, Theme Park Shark has you covered! Check out the prices below, but remember! These prices are before tax and subject to change until purchased (and prices DO fluctuate, especially with Express passes!) so while Theme Park Shark aims to give you an idea of what these services will run you, remember that nothing is set in stone until you’ve got that confirmation email!

HHN Express Pass Pricing

Express Passes are becoming increasingly popular as the event becomes more popular, but are not necessary to enjoy your time at Halloween Horror Nights. Multi-night ticket holders will be able to do all houses, and doing all ten houses is still pretty possible with only a Scream Early ticket if you play your cards right – but for those really looking to make the most of your night, or for guests only visiting for a single night of HHN, an Express Pass is your most surefire way to ensure that you get the most screams wrung out of you as possible!

While Universal’s official ticketing site did not have additional Express Passes listed, check out the HHN Express Pass kiosk stands in the parks during your visit! In years past, select event nights have offered an “After 11” Express Pass, which – just like it says in the title – is valid from 11 PM to event close the night you purchase it, and can be purchased at a cheaper rate than the full night express passes.

Depending on when you go and if they have the elusive After 11’s available, you might be able to score double the screams for half the price! Good luck!

Unmasking the Horror Tour Pricing

This one’s a little tricky, so stay with me! Unmasking the Horror offers TWO different experiences: A 3-house tour, and a 6-house tour, so pricing and what you get for that price is going to be a little different. Let’s start with the 3-house Tour:

With the 3-House tour, guests get to experience select houses before the event starts, with light-on, guided tours through three pre-picked houses. Unfortunately, no, you don’t get to pick which ones. All houses included in the 3- and 6-house tours are predetermined, but that’s fine because you still get to see things that you never really would otherwise!

While not all of the rooms in the houses that you tour will be given photography opportunities, many rooms will allow you to take lights-on photographs and even video of these astounding haunted mazes, and with the Unmasking the Horror tour, each guest guests a commemorative pin exclusive to that year’s tour.

6-house Tour pricing was also available on Universal’s ticketing site:

The 6-House tour is only available after the start of the event, but gets everything the 3-house tour offers. In addition to what’s available above, guests with 6-house tour tickets also get an exclusive buffet-styled lunch.

The tours typically vary in length depending on crowds, weather, and party size, but a good rule of thumb is that the 6-house tour really is an all-day affair, so wear good walking shoes! You’re definitely gonna need it. Also, remember that you don’t need daytime OR HHN admission for this tour, so if you’re just curious about the experience but don’t have tickets to Universal Studios Florida or Halloween Horror Nights, don’t worry! They’ve got you covered!

Scream Early Ticket Pricing

Scream Early really is a life saver. Sure, it’s an additional cost, but if you don’t have day admission to Universal Studios Florida and want to make the most out of your single-night HHN experience, this is definitely a ticket you want to look into. Guests holding Scream Early tickets get admission to the park up to three hours before Halloween Horror Nights begins, which means you have plenty of time to park yourself in one of HHN’s holding zones.

At approximately 5 PM every day, the park closes down for HHN and anyone already in the park with an HHN ticket gets to stay in a designated area that will then get early access to select houses up to an hour before the event opens to regular guests! While it might not seem like much, you can get several houses done before the event even opens. I’ve personally knocked out as many as half the houses in one Scream Early session, so if you’re looking to get a head start on the event, the Scream Early ticket (or getting corralled with your regular daytime admission or UOAP pass) is definitely the way to go if you’re not looking to purchase Express Passes or the R.I.P. tour.

While your mileage may vary, it’s always a good rule of thumb to pick the holding section that offers the most houses or the house that you want to experience most. Not all houses will be available for Scream Early, so be sure to check with a team member on what houses will be available where!

R.I.P. Tour Pricing

The R.I.P. tour is back! Guests looking to get in on the VIP action will receive plenty of perks and benefits you just can’t find anywhere else. If you’ve want a once-in-a-lifetime Halloween experience, the R.I.P. Tour is your go-to.

Guests will get priority VIP entry to all houses, meaning R.I.P. guests get to skip all those boring lines and get straight to the screaming! This is only good for a once-per-house experience as you follow your tour guide through the event and is based on the predetermined itinerary, so it’s not exactly a free-for-all. But, guests with this perk also get Universal Express Unlimited for all open attractions for the entire night – so once you’ve got some down time, guests get to choose from several of Universal’s best, most thrilling rides to experience over and over again!

R.I.P. tour guests also get an exclusive pre-tour reception and a commemorative credential that includes a lanyard and button for each guest in the R.I.P. party. Light appetizers will be available at this special reception, and guests will also be able to enjoy reserved priority seating at select event show(s) during the duration of their tour.

Valet parking is also included in the R.I.P. tour, which – trust me – after a full night of horror, you’re gonna be glad for!

Premium Scream Night

Premium Scream Night will also be making a return this year, with tickets priced at 375.00 plus tax. This is a one-night event held on August 28th, the night before the official open. Also included is complimentary self-parking in Universal’s CityWalk parking garage, and while food and beverage will be provided for this event, alcohol will have to be purchased separately.

This event boasts limited crowds and lower wait times, as well as all-you-care-to-enjoy samplings of Halloween Horror Nights’ specialty food and beverages in a sneak peek you’ll never be able to forget!
