Universal Orlando just put a Florida resident ticket on sale that covers all three theme parks for $85 a day. The Special 3-Day Florida Resident Ticket costs $255 plus tax and gets you into Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe. It went on sale Thursday, September 3, and it’s good for visits through December 23, 2026. Blockout dates apply.
The three days don’t need to be back to back. You can burn them on one long weekend or spread them across the fall, as long as you dodge the blockout dates. It’s a limited-time offer, and it’s only for Florida residents.
Should you get the base ticket or the park-to-park upgrade?
The base ticket gives you one park per day, so three parks in three days. The park-to-park upgrade changes the shape of the trip: two days hopping between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, then one dedicated day at Epic Universe. Epic Universe is Universal’s newest park, and this ticket folds it into the same per-day price as the other two, a different shape from the resort’s standing Universal Orlando ticket prices for 2026. That hopping version is also the only way to ride the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
Either option gets you into all three Wizarding World of Harry Potter lands across the three parks. Universal’s pitch for the rest of the trip runs from Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida, to the 70 mph Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure, to Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment at Epic Universe.
Two days for the Hogwarts Express loop and a full third day at Epic Universe is exactly how I’d split it anyway, the same Epic focus that shows up in Universal Nights Epic Universe 2026 dates.
Can Florida residents stack a hotel discount on top?
Yes. Florida residents also save up to 35% on all room types for Sunday through Thursday stays at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and Universal Endless Summer Resort: Surfside Inn and Suites. The hotel deal covers travel through December 24, 2026, one day past the ticket window.
Hotel guests get Early Park Admission to the theme parks plus complimentary resort transportation. Universal calls an on-site stay the best way to do the trip, since the hotels put you steps from the parks.
Shark Take: The hotel savings only apply Sunday through Thursday, so a midweek trip is where the two offers stack best. Both deals are on sale now at universalorlando.com, separate from the July 2026 $199 Florida resident unlimited 2-park ticket.
