Disney and Walt Disney Imagineering have teamed up with The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to open Tiana’s Joyful Celebration – the first-ever museum exhibition dedicated to Princess Tiana, now open through January 3, 2027.
The immersive experience sets families inside a 1928 New Orleans neighborhood where Tiana and friends are racing to finish a Mardi Gras season parade. Guests pitch in – decorating floats, joining the Bayou Community Band alongside Prince Naveen, designing masks and costumes at Eudora’s dress shop, cooking Tiana’s father’s gumbo recipe, and learning a second-line dance from a New Orleans native dancer.
The exhibit builds on the world of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the attraction now running at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. Imagineers say the project grew from a desire to share more of Princess Tiana’s story beyond the parks.
