Disney Believe, Disney Cruise Line’s next ship, gets its official reveal on Wednesday, October 7. Ahead of the livestream, a three-day scavenger hunt aboard the Disney Wish is dropping clues, starting with news from the shipyard.

- Where to watch: Disney Parks YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- What’s coming: Homeport, itineraries, themed venues, and entertainment news
A hosted group of content creators and media is solving the mysteries before the ship’s reveal.
What does Disney Believe’s 723 clue mean?
It’s the ship’s hull number. The group gathered in Luna, where Trent Hitchcock kicked off the hunt. Hitchcock is Disney Believe’s opening Cruise Director, overseeing entertainment, youth spaces, and recreation aboard the ship.

He told the group that every task has a meaning and every clue is intentional. For the first puzzle, the crowd split into three teams, each decoding its challenge to find a single number.

The answer was 723.
That’s Disney Believe’s hull designation at Meyer Werft Shipyard. Hitchcock explained that shipyards assign hull numbers to ships they build. He said Walt Disney Imagineering hides that number in each ship’s design as a nod to its beginning.
Natacha Rafalski, president of Disney Signature Experiences, then shared that the ship’s keel laying ceremony took place just a few days earlier. Following a longstanding maritime custom, a specially crafted coin featuring Tinker Bell was ceremonially welded to the keel block. It’s meant to bring good fortune to the ship and its future crew.
What did the porthole puzzles reveal?
Each one led to a different brand-new food and beverage item coming to Disney Believe. After the group saw photos from the keel ceremony, Hugo and Beatrice joined in. The pair of travelers and explorers, called Story Sea-kers, helped launch the hunt for the stories behind the new ship.

The next task sent the group looking for a special porthole with a hidden word inside. That word led to a letter scramble, and the answer was Ariel.
After telling a Story Keeper that Ariel’s hair is red, the team got a letter with missing words from The Little Mermaid songs:
- “Under the _____.”
- “____ the girl.”
- “Part of your _____.”
- “Poor unfortunate _____.”
The letter pointed to “the place where nightingales sing,” which is Nightingale’s, the piano bar on the Disney Wish. Sharing the missing words there earned a first look at one of the new items.
Disney hasn’t said whether those items hint at a venue, a show, or a character.
