One of the most highly anticipated Disney Media releases of this year, A Whole New Sound is officially here! A recently released album that pays homage to the days of Disney Mania as a collection of various artists redesigning Disney Classics in their own unique styles, A Whole New Sound puts the focus squarely on pop rock and alternative bands that have come together to produce these electrifying new takes on old favorites.
With twelve tracks and more than a handful of music videos having released on the official DisneyMusicVEVO YouTube channel, Disney is eager to share this new album. Whether you’re a fan of the individual artists or a fan of the Disney classics that we all hold near and dear, this new album is sure to be an exciting, refreshing reminder of the creativity and imagination that Disney movies have fostered over the years. The sound is an electrifying breath of fresh air to the melodies we’ve all come to know by heart over the years, and the sound that each individual artist brings to these beloved Disney classics is an exciting and high-energy take on the tried and true music that we all grew up with.

In celebration of the release of this new album, Disney has also released one more new music video featuring Yellowcard’s reimagining of “A Whole New World” from the 1992 animated classic Aladdin, originally composed by Disney legend Alan Menken. After Yellowcard’s 2003 platinum-selling album Ocean Avenue (remember that one, Radio Disney kids?) hit its 20th anniversary last year, it only made sense of the alternative rock revolutionaries to return to their roots in Disney’s newest album; despite their huge success of their Summer 2023 tour, Yellowcard was still able to collaborate with Disney and produce this incredible new track for the album, as well as a music video featuring the band that was recently released on the DisneyMusicVEVO YouTube channel, which can be viewed right here on Theme Park Shark!
Be sure to check out the rest of this incredible new album on your favorite music streaming platform, and keep an eye out for more Disney news on Theme Park Shark!
