Pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter is heading to The Muppet Show. Disney+ announced today that Carpenter will appear as a guest in the revival of the classic variety series, which premieres Tuesday, February 4 on both Disney+ and ABC.
The announcement came with a playful teaser featuring Carpenter alongside Miss Piggy, with Disney+ asking “Who hasn’t taken fashion inspiration from Miss Piggy?”
The Muppet Show Returns
The beloved variety series is making its comeback with new celebrity guests joining Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and the rest of the Muppets gang for comedy sketches, musical performances, and the trademark backstage chaos that made the original series a cultural phenomenon.
Sabrina Carpenter, who has been riding a massive wave of popularity following her “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” hits, brings her star power to the Muppet stage — a pairing that’s sure to delight fans of both the singer and the classic franchise.
How to Watch
The Muppet Show premieres February 4, 2026 and will be available to stream on Disney+ as well as airing on ABC. A Disney+ subscription is required for streaming access.
While not a theme park story per se, The Muppets have a significant presence at Walt Disney World — from MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the upcoming Muppets-themed retheme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which is set to close March 2 for the transformation. A successful Muppet Show revival could build even more excitement for the new attraction.
