What Is Universal Terra Luna Resort?

Universal Terra Luna Resort is a value-priced on-site hotel at Universal Orlando Resort with a celestial space theme, located steps from the Epic Universe complete guide theme park. The hotel opened in early 2025 ahead of Epic Universe, and it includes Early Park Admission for on-site guests. Standard rooms include two queen beds, a couch, and cosmic-inspired decor. Rates are positioned as a budget-friendly choice among Universal Orlando hotels.

What Is the Lobby Like?

The Terra Luna lobby trades theme park chaos for a hushed, immersive atmosphere. Spherical lighting, wavy patterns on the walls and ceiling, and dim interstellar tones create an “other stratosphere” feel from the moment guests walk in. Guest Danielle Garner described arriving at night as the ideal way to experience the planetary theme, with the low lighting and serene lobby setting the tone for the entire stay.

Rooms at Universal Terra Luna Resort

Standard rooms at Terra Luna Resort feature two queen beds, circular ceiling lighting, and a Neptune-colored couch comfortable for groups of four. Garner called the room her favorite part of the stay, citing the cozy atmosphere and ample space for her group. The backdrop behind the beds features a planet motif. Rooms are designed to accommodate families of varying sizes without feeling cramped.

What Is the Pool Like at Terra Luna Resort?

The Terra Luna pool features a zero-entry design that starts at beach-level depth and gradually deepens, with a large outdoor movie screen for evening screenings. Garner’s family intended a short swim and ended up staying over three hours. The zero-entry design works well for all ages. After sunset, the hotel projects movies on a large screen for pool guests.

Dining: Omega Cafe and Market

Omega Cafe and Market at Terra Luna Resort serves Hot Honey Chicken Pizza, Hawaiian Turkey Burger, Fried Tofu and Vermicelli Noodles, and an Out of This World Tomato Soup. Late-night grab-and-go options include sandwiches and mini pizzas. Garner’s group grabbed Banh Mi sandwiches and pizza on their first night after missing dinner hours and found the menu more than covered them. Variety spans meat, vegetarian, and comfort food options.

Early Park Admission to Epic Universe

Guests staying at Universal Terra Luna Resort receive Early Park Admission to Epic Universe, allowing entry before the general public each morning. With Epic Universe now open, this perk gives Terra Luna guests a head start on all five themed worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World World, How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe. See our complete Epic Universe trip planning guide for how to maximize Early Park Admission.

Is Terra Luna Resort Worth It?

Universal Terra Luna Resort is a strong pick for multi-generational families who want an on-site experience at a value price point. The value proposition is Early Park Admission, a comfortable room for groups, and a genuinely fun pool. Garner’s eight-person, three-generation group used it as a home base between Epic Universe days and found it delivered on all fronts. For a Universal trip centered on Epic Universe, it is one of the most practical choices on property.

Universal also operates Stella Nova Resort, another newer on-site hotel at Universal Orlando. Both properties opened ahead of Epic Universe as value-tier options. For full trip planning, check our Epic Universe 2026 guide.
