The Walt Disney Company launched Disney Week of Wishes on April 27, 2026, with Make-A-Wish as a new annual celebration of Disney wishes around the world.
For families following Disney’s wish-granting work, the week centers on nearly 200 signature wish experiences, including a new Avengers-themed event at Disney California Adventure.
Disney Week of Wishes
Disney said it is the world’s largest WishMaker for Make-A-Wish and grants a wish every hour of every day. The new Disney Week of Wishes campaign is meant to spotlight that work across Disney stories, characters, experiences, and platforms.
The company said the celebration will include nearly 200 signature wish experiences tied to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, ESPN, Broadway, and Disney Parks.
The Disneyland Resort event
One of the headline experiences is Wishes Assemble, an Avengers-themed day at Disney California Adventure for nearly 40 Make-A-Wish children and their families.
Disney said the children will become Avengers recruits during an exclusive party with appearances by Anthony Mackie and Paul Bettany. The company described the event as a first-of-its-kind Disney wish experience.
Other wish moments
Disney also listed several wish experiences planned for the campaign, including a child performing in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and two wish children announcing first-round NFL Draft picks on ESPN.
Another wish child will receive an invitation to the premiere of The Mandalorian and Grogu, according to Disney.
Disney’s Make-A-Wish partnership
Make-A-Wish America will honor Bob Iger with the inaugural WishMaker Lifetime Achievement Award during the week. Disney said more than 110,000 Disney wishes were granted under Iger’s leadership, and that Disney provided Make-A-Wish with $30 million in support last year.
Disney also debuted Drawn to You, a new brand spot directed by Goh Iromoto and inspired by true stories from the Make-A-Wish Wish Discovery Phase.
For Disney fans, the main takeaway is that Disney Week of Wishes is now positioned as an annual campaign, with the 2026 launch tying major wish moments directly to Disneyland Resort, Marvel, Broadway, ESPN, and Disney’s broader storytelling brands.
