Disney is starting a new T-shirt collaboration with Bobby Kim, and the first piece is a vintage-inspired long sleeved Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse tee. D23 attendees get it first on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Everyone else can buy it on DisneyStore.com for one day only on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8 a.m. PT, while supplies last.
A second wave follows. Six more T-shirts drop on DisneyStore.com on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PT and run through Sunday, August 23, while supplies last.
What does the Sorcerer’s Apprentice shirt look like?
It’s a stylized Mickey Mouse drawing with the hand-drawn quality fans know from the classic version of the character. Bobby Kim based it on a vintage shirt he spotted on a trip to Harajuku, Japan, then built the design out from there.

That origin story is the whole pitch, honestly. A shirt found in a Tokyo neighborhood becomes an official Disney tee, which is a better backstory than most merch drops get.

How do you buy it at D23 2026?
Go to the Disney Style Around the World panel on August 15, where Bobby Kim talks about the collection. The shirt is available for purchase there, with a limit of one item per attendee. All sales are final. If you’re building your D23 2026 itinerary, that panel is the only way to get the shirt before it hits the web.
The collaboration is ongoing rather than a one-off, so Disney Consumer Products has more coming. Disney Parks Blog says additional details are on the way.

Bobby Kim describes the goal as creating “wearable memories.” The collection pulls from theme park trips, pop culture moments, and classic films, which is a wide net for a line that starts with one long sleeve shirt. Fans watching the rest of the D23 merchandise debuts will have plenty to compare it against.
What to know
Two dates matter. August 15 at D23 for attendees, August 17 at 8 a.m. PT online for everyone else, both limited to what’s in stock. The six-shirt release on August 20 is a separate drop with its own window.
