Disneyland Resort revealed a first look at “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” on Monday, August 17, 2026. The new street party debuts at Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park, and it starts on select nights beginning Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and running through Saturday, October 31, 2026.
A Haunted Mansion-Inspired Celebration
Newly released photos and a social video from @DisneyParks give guests their first real glimpse of the celebration. Inspired by the Haunted Mansion attraction and its iconic characters, the all-new street party materializes at Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park. Guests are invited to a festive celebration featuring multiple show-stopping moments for Madame Leota to host her spirited seance.

The photos show dancers in shimmering blue gowns twirling near a glowing Haunted Mansion facade, with a bride figure standing in for the attraction’s famous specters. The whole scene is filled with ghostly dancing and ghoulish delight.

When to Catch It at Oogie Boogie Bash
Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake joins an already stacked lineup at Oogie Boogie Bash 2026. The party runs on select nights starting Tuesday, August 18, and continues through Saturday, October 31, 2026. It’s a separately ticketed event, and tickets are still available as of this announcement, according to Disneyland Resort.
Guests looking to plan a full night out can pair the street party with the Halloween Time Foodie Guide for seasonal snacks and drinks worth trying before the sun goes down. Disney Parks Blog also rounded up the full character lineup guests can meet at Oogie Boogie Bash this year in its own character guide.
This new street party fits a pattern Disneyland Resort has leaned into all season. The resort keeps adding fresh entertainment and merchandise drops to keep returning guests excited, something reflected in the 2026 Disney Halloween Merchandise Guide.
Plan Your Night
Street parties like this one tend to draw a crowd fast once word spreads. Grab a spot along the street before the first performance if you want a clear view. Arrive right after Oogie Boogie Bash gates open so you can walk the street before the crowds settle in for the night.
Check the park’s daily entertainment schedule the night of your visit, since showtimes can shift as the season goes on. A second lap through the crowd later in the night is worth it if the first pass felt too packed.
If Madame Leota’s crew is the reason you’re going this year, don’t wait to pick a date. Grab tickets for the night you actually want before the calendar fills in.
