Universal Kids Resort has a new premium annual pass, and it doesn’t have a single blockout date. The Gold Annual Pass costs $199.99 per person and covers 12 months of admission, plus complimentary regular self-parking.
The Frisco, Texas, resort announced the pass on Sept. 29, 2026. Gold joins the existing Silver Annual Pass and Silver Annual Pass with Parking, so families now have three annual pass options.
What discounts come with the Gold Annual Pass?
Gold passholders get 10% off select food and beverage and select merchandise purchases. The same 10% applies to Private VIP Experiences.
Bringing people along gets cheaper too, with 10% off 1-Day and 2-Day Friends & Family tickets.
On the hotel side, Gold includes complimentary room upgrades based on availability. There’s also $20 off Premium Parking.
How is Gold different from the Silver passes?
The biggest difference is blockouts. The Silver Annual Pass includes 12 months of admission for one guest, but it’s subject to blockout dates. The Silver Annual Pass with Parking keeps those same admission terms and adds regular self-parking. Universal Kids Resort hasn’t shared Silver pricing alongside the Gold news.
Dan Cuffe, vice president and general manager of Universal Kids Resort, said the Gold pass gives families “even more opportunities to visit throughout the year.” He pointed to favorite attractions, character experiences, seasonal events and limited-time offerings that make every visit feel a little different.
The resort has seven themed lands. Three of them are DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom. The rest are Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest and DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar. The seventh is the Isle of Curiosity, featuring DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse.
Can you upgrade a Silver pass to Gold?
Yes. Current passholders can move up by paying the difference between their existing pass and the Gold Annual Pass, plus applicable tax.
Annual Passes are available now online at UniversalKidsResort.com. For questions about pass options or benefits, the Universal Kids Resort Guest Contact Center takes calls at (888) 331-9105.
