The new post breaks down pool areas at Signature Collection, Prime Value, and Value resort hotels, with details on the features that separate each property. For travelers comparing Universal resorts, that matters because the hotel pool scene ranges from quiet lounge-style spaces to full family pool complexes with slides, splash pads, and lazy rivers.

At the top end of the lineup, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel offers three different pool experiences: the lively Beach Pool with a Roman aqueduct-inspired waterslide and sandy beach, the more private Villa Pool with upgraded lounge options and cabana rentals, and the quieter Hillside Pool tucked near the hotel’s east wing.
