Disneyland Resort has laid out its summer 2026 lineup, and the biggest takeaway for families is simple: Kids Rule Summer is pairing new and returning entertainment with limited-time ticket and hotel offers.
Disney Parks Blog published the summer guide on May 20, 2026. The resort says the lineup includes a new mission with The Mandalorian and Grogu on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the recently debuted “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at Disneyland park, dance parties, family activity books, hotel activities, and the return of several seasonal offerings across Disneyland Resort.

What is new for Disneyland summer 2026
The Star Wars additions begin May 22, 2026, the same date Disney lists for the debut of the new Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run mission tied to Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The update sends guests with Din Djarin and Grogu as they track ex-Imperial officers across the galaxy.
Disney also says BDX droids return to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park beginning May 22, 2026, appearing at Black Spire Station in a new way. A limited-time projection moment called “The Curious Child” will also play after “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” with Grogu recalling memories from adventures with The Mandalorian.
For younger Star Wars fans, Savi’s Workshop will offer the Youngling Saber Building Expo, A Loth-Cat Crew Experience, for a limited time beginning May 22, 2026. Disney says the experience is recommended for ages 3 to 9 with an adult, is capacity-based, and does not include a lightsaber unless guests choose to buy one afterward.
Bluey, dance parties, Soarin and more
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is already running at Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland park, where Bluey and Bingo appear with performers and musicians in a Fun Fair setting inspired by the series. Disney is also highlighting Bluey-themed food, beverages, and merchandise as part of the offering.
Other summer entertainment includes the Disney Friends Dance Party at the Disney Theater in Disney California Adventure for a limited time beginning May 22, 2026. “Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast” also returns to Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland park for a limited time beginning May 22, 2026.
Disney says Soarin’ Across America debuts at Disney California Adventure on July 2, 2026, as part of America’s 250th anniversary. “A Walk in Walt’s Footsteps” guided tour returns August 14, 2026, with a reimagined two-hour format that includes a tour start in Disney California Adventure and access to Walt Disney’s private apartment above the Fire House on Main Street, U.S.A.
Disneyland summer 2026 deals
The headline discount is the 2026 Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer. Children ages 3 through 9 can visit Disneyland Resort for $50 per child with the purchase of a special 1-Day Park Hopper ticket for visits from May 22 through September 7, 2026. Disney says 2-Day and 3-Day Park Hopper ticket options are also available.
Disneyland Resort is also offering up to 15% off select hotel stays Sunday through Thursday nights from May 22 through September 7, 2026. Disney is pointing guests to Disneyland.com/offers for the current list of ticket and hotel discounts.
Disney also listed lower-price 1-Day, 1-Park ticket dates for guests ages 10 and older. The lowest listed June 2026 dates are June 1 through June 4 at $104. July dates listed at $149 include July 1, July 2, July 6 through July 9, July 13 through July 16, July 20, July 21, July 23, and July 27 through July 30. August dates listed at $129 include August 18, August 19, August 20, August 25, and August 27.
What families should know
The summer lineup is broad, so families planning around one specific offering should check Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app before visiting. Disney says entertainment schedules and capacity-based offerings can vary by day.
The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration also continues through August 9, 2026, with limited-time entertainment, food, merchandise, and anniversary offerings. That means summer guests may be able to combine Kids Rule Summer activities with the final weeks of the 70th celebration.
For families building a multi-day trip, the biggest practical pieces are the May 22 start date for several offerings, the September 7 end date for the kids ticket and hotel offers, and the July 2 debut of Soarin’ Across America.
