Spider-Man has webbed up one of Queens’ most recognizable signs. Disney Consumer Products launched a projection show across the Silvercup Studios sign on July 15, celebrating Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day before its theatrical release on Friday, July 31.
The show depicts Spider-Man swinging from web to web as he moves across the sign above the Queens skyline. Guests watching the first nighttime presentation also received an appearance from Spider-Man himself.

It’s a fitting stop for Peter Parker. The event brings the character back to his hometown while turning the historic New York production facility into a temporary piece of Spider-Man key art.
How long is the Spider-Man Silvercup Studios show?
The Spider-Man sign takeover is visible during the day and at night through Sunday, July 19. Disney did not announce specific projection times, viewing instructions, or a ticket requirement.
If you want to see it in Queens, make plans before the display ends on July 19. The limited run wraps 12 days before the movie reaches theaters.
The projection is part of a larger launch spanning merchandise, books, streaming, and games. Fans following Spider-Man news and updates will have several more dates to watch after the Queens event disappears.
When does the Spider-Man: Brand New Day merchandise arrive?
New products tied to the film are already rolling out from brands including the LEGO Group, Hasbro, Funko, and Mattel. Civil Regime, Old Navy, Crocs, Fossil, Bershka, Displate, and Iron Studios are also participating.
Disney Store and DisneyStore.com carry a wider assortment inspired by the movie. Three featured items are a Spider-Man Talking Action Figure, a children’s Light-Up Mask with Sound, and a Big Feet Plush. Prices and individual release dates were not included in the announcement.

Two books will follow the film. Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie arrives August 18 with concept sketches, character designs, environments, costumes, and production insights. DK Publishing’s Marvel World of Spider-Man, written by Kelly Knox, follows September 22 with material from across the Spider-Man film saga.
Game players have two additional tie-ins coming. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 adds a suit inspired by the new film on July 28 for PlayStation 5 and PC. A Brand New Day-inspired Spider-Man costume is also coming to Marvel Rivals, although its release date was not announced.
Disney+ is carrying Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man through mid-October. The special follows the character’s screen history through Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, then looks ahead with director Destin Daniel Cretton. It joins the service’s broader Spider-Man collection.
