Walt Disney Imagineering is bringing Imagineering: Horizons to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The pavilion will give fans a close look at the people, creative process, and future possibilities behind Disney Parks around the world.
The pavilion will showcase “the progress shaping Disney Parks around the world,” according to Disney. That makes Horizons a show-floor destination for fans following upcoming Disney Parks projects and hoping to see how Imagineers turn ideas into experiences.

Disney has not announced which individual parks, attractions, or projects will appear inside the pavilion. Specific displays and presentation times were not included in the July 16 announcement.
Disney describes Imagineering: Horizons as an exclusive experience focused on the people, process, and possibilities behind Imagineering. The announcement confirms the pavilion’s overall focus, but it does not identify any project models, concept art, demonstrations, or other specific exhibits.
When can fans visit Imagineering: Horizons?
Imagineering: Horizons will be open to D23 ticketholders during the event on August 14, 15, and 16, 2026. The fan event takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Horizons will be one of the experiences available on what Disney describes as the largest show floor in D23 history. The overall show floor will also include immersive walkthroughs, interactive experiences, first-look moments, shopping, and more than 50 panels and shows. Talent Central will also return.
This is a ticketed experience. If Imagineering news is your priority, keep the pavilion on your show-floor plan, but wait for Disney to release additional access or scheduling details before locking in a specific visit time. Fans can also follow D23 2026 announcements as more weekend information arrives.
What else is coming to the D23 show floor?
The expanded floor will cover several corners of Disney. Marvel Studios is bringing TVA Experience: Your Next Assignment, an immersive walkthrough spanning familiar and new worlds from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Lucasfilm’s pavilion will feature photo opportunities, props, costumes, and conversations with filmmakers. A special screening of LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian is also planned at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Disney+ and Hulu will share a space with a signature 4D theater, exclusive merchandise, a mystery pin quest, and themed photo locations. Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios will join forces for artist demonstrations, autograph signings, giveaways, and interactive displays, including a celebration of Pixar’s 40th anniversary.
For park fans, Horizons has a clear hook: it offers an Imagineering-focused look at the people, process, and possibilities behind Disney Parks. More details about its contents have not been announced, so watch Disney Imagineering project updates before the August event.
