The resort’s second park officially became Disney Adventure World on March 29, completing the transformation. These eight details sit behind the scenery rather than in it.

How does the park use water?

Disney Adventure Bay is the lake at the center of the park. Rainwater filled it first.

Frozen Ever After is a boat ride, so water is in play the whole time it operates. The closed loop keeps recovering and reusing that water instead of drawing more.

Disneyland Paris names its wastewater treatment plant as the source of that recycled water. Disneyland Park keeps its green spaces on the same supply.

The sprinklers in the flower beds are one of the few pieces of this guests can see running. Sensors adjust that irrigation to match the park’s plant needs as closely as possible, and the system sits alongside the resort’s overnight horticulture work.
Which attractions save energy?

Rapunzel Tangled Spin recovers energy every time its vehicles brake. Disneyland Paris puts that recovered share at 7 percent of the attraction’s energy needs.

Disney Cascade of Lights puts boats, fountains, and drones over the water. Its boats are fully electric, and certain pyrotechnic effects were designed to reduce the risk of solid residue.
How is the park heated?

Restaurant kitchens throw off heat all day from their refrigeration. That heat gets captured and sent to the restrooms as preheated water.

Geothermal energy and a thermo-refrigerating pump carry the heating, cooling, and refrigeration load. Disneyland Paris says that setup also reduces natural gas consumption and the use of recycled water.
What does this mean for a visit?
Most of this runs out of sight, which is the point. The practical note for a 2026 trip is scheduling. Frozen Ever After and Disney Cascade of Lights are both worth building an evening around, so official park hours and show times are worth a check before the visit.
