70th Celebration Treats: Part One

Theme Park Shark previously covered Disneyland’s announcement on the festivities planned for their 70th Anniversary birthday bash, but now that the celebration is under way, tons of new food offerings have appeared at both Disneyland California and Disney California Adventure park. These specially-crafted food offering celebrate both the modern approach to tasty treats seen throughout Disneyland Resort as well as some old favorites that have become staples of the theme park culture, like churros and Mickey-shaped treats that have found a home in the Disney Parks since the original Mickey treat – the Mickey-shaped pancake that debuted in the summer of 1975.

Disneyland isn’t limiting itself to handheld treats and sweets like cookies and ice cream cones, either. These are full-blown, whole-hog, bona fide dishes crafted by the Food and Beverage department at the park, headed by Michele Gendreau and her team of world-class executive chefs that make all of the most delicious memories at the Disneyland Resort in California come to life.

The Disneyland Resort in California has grown a lot since then, and expanded its Mickey-shaped menu to include things like crispy rice treats, waffles, cookies, and more – but Disney never does anything in half-measures, and Mickey-shaped treats aren’t the only thing on the menu this year to help celebrate this milestone anniversary! In fact, the menu is pretty huge, so tuck in – we’ve got a lot to look at!

Disneyland Park 70th Celebration Menus 

Alien Pizza Planet (Mobile order available)
