The colorful Yoshis are back at Universal Studios Hollywood, and they’re stealing the show in Super Nintendo World during Universal Fan Fest Nights.
Universal shared the news on their official Instagram, showing off Mario surrounded by green, blue, purple, yellow, and pink Yoshis posing in front of Bowser’s Castle in the Mushroom Kingdom. If you’re a Yoshi fan, this is the photo op you’ve been waiting for.
What Is Universal Fan Fest Nights?
Universal Fan Fest Nights is a separately ticketed after-hours event at Universal Studios Hollywood running April 23 through May 16, 2026. It’s one of those events where the park takes on a completely different energy at night — characters are out, the worlds are lit up, and the vibes are immaculate.
What’s New This Year
This year’s lineup is stacked. Universal is adding brand new experiences including:
- Scooby-Doo Meets The Universal Monsters — a first-time crossover
- One Piece — anime fans, this one’s for you
- Dungeons & Dragons — returning after last year’s debut
On top of that, all the fan-favorite activations in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World will be running, with the Yoshis clearly being a major highlight.
Why You Should Go
If you haven’t experienced Fan Fest Nights yet, it’s genuinely one of the best separately ticketed events Universal does. The after-hours format means lower crowds, unique character encounters, and the kind of immersive atmosphere that’s hard to get during regular park hours. And honestly — who wouldn’t want a photo with all the Yoshis?
Tickets are on sale now at universalstudioshollywood.com.
