Theme Park Shark is on the ground at Universal Studios Hollywood for an exclusive first look at the ride vehicles for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the park’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster.

Universal is revealing the remaining three ride vehicles today, joining Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T that was first shown in June 2025. The full lineup includes Brian’s Toyota Supra, Brian’s Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, and Han’s Mazda RX-7 from Tokyo Drift. We’re also getting a first look at a large-scale mural by artist Tristan Eaton inside the ride platform.

This page will be updated with photos, video, and details as the event unfolds. Bookmark it and check back.

What We Know So Far

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is a steel, launched, spinning roller coaster built by Intamin on the Upper Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride spans 4,100 feet of track, reaches speeds of 72 mph, features 4 inversions, and uses LSM launch technology. Each ride vehicle spins 360 degrees independently, and all four cars form a single train carrying 16 riders.

It is the fastest roller coaster in the entire Universal Destinations & Experiences portfolio and opens summer 2026.

The Four Ride Vehicles

  • Car 1: Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T — the lead vehicle, previously revealed June 2025
  • Car 2: Brian’s Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 from 2 Fast 2 Furious
  • Car 3: Han’s Mazda RX-7 from Tokyo Drift
  • Car 4: Brian’s Toyota Supra from The Fast and the Furious
