Universal Kids Resort has shared its first look at Jurassic World Adventure Camp, one of seven themed lands coming to the new theme park in Frisco, Texas, opening in 2026.
The video, posted on Instagram on Monday, March 16, 2026, gives a preview of the prehistoric land where young explorers can step into the world of dinosaurs, discovery, and adventure.
What We Know About Jurassic World Adventure Camp
Based on previously revealed details, the land will feature several kid-friendly attractions:
- Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster, where guests search for the missing Bumpy, an Ankylosaurus from the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous
- Mr. DNA’s Double Helix Spin, inspired by the animated character from the original Jurassic Park film, featuring gondolas that twist and turn around a tower
- Pteranodrop, a pair of small drop towers
- Paddock Play, where guests can meet and interact with baby Velociraptors
The land features the iconic Jurassic World entrance archway with a T. rex, setting the tone for the prehistoric adventure inside.
About Universal Kids Resort
Universal Kids Resort is the company’s first theme park designed specifically for families with younger children. The park will feature seven themed lands in total, including DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, and Isle of Curiosity. A 300-room themed hotel will also be part of the resort.
