This year’s Holiday Tribute Store is back and better than ever, as Universal Orlando invites guests to step into the pages of their favorite books. Featuring some old classics and new Universal Orlando Resort traditions that have burrowed their way into our hearts, this year’s Holiday Tribute Store features three distinct themes, all capped off with well-wishes for the holidays no matter where you’re from!
Step into the Tribute Store Booksellers and be transported into the pages of your favorite Christmas stories – from the most picturesque winter at Hogsmeade to the tip of Mount Crumpit, the Holiday Tribute Store is full of twists and turns – literally! – that will get even the grumpiest Grinch into the Christmas spirit!
Journey through this year’s Holiday Tribute Store and enjoy some of the most eye-catching Christmas decorations ever seen at Universal Orlando Resort, from the paper-craft styled design of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as you find plenty of new merchandise, like the new line of sherpa products that will keep every witch and wizard in your family cozy and warm!
What better way to celebrate the holidays than with the snowy accents of Hogsmeade? Especially here in Florida, where it’s still a cool and cozy eighty degrees! When you live in the subtropics, you gotta live vicariously…
But don’t forget! This Holiday Tribute Store is the Tribute Store Booksellers, and what would a bookshop be without books? From the classics of Dr. Seuss to beautiful hardcover copies of all of the Harry Potter books, guests can find books for the readers in their lives this Christmas.
Guests can weave through the story of How The Grinch Stole Christmas, as huge pages form a path through the Holiday Tribute Store. Enjoy spectacle after spectacle as interactive elements and vibrant projections tell these timeless stories that have become traditions beloved by all. Navigating the Tribute Store has never been more of an adventure than it is in the Tribute Store Booksellers!
Also featured in the Tribute Store this year is an original story by Universal Orlando Resort, telling the tale of our beloved holiday rascal, Earl the Squirrel, who’s become something of a celebrity in recent years around the holidays at Universal!
Unfortunately, Earl was ‘Out 2 Lunch’ when Theme Park Shark arrived to interview him, but we’ll catch him next time!
But perhaps one of the loveliest parts of this year’s Holiday Tribute Store was the Holidays Around The World display in the final room – featuring a banner that wished guests a happy holiday in ten different languages, and flags representing six different holidays, including Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and Three Kings’ Day, among others.
This room was a beautiful end to the Holiday Tribute Store, reminding all who pass through that this time of year is a wonderful time for people all across the globe and from all walks of life, and that holiday cheer is about coming together and offering our well-wishes to all who celebrate, no matter what they celebrate.
