Predator: Badlands had one of the strongest streaming debuts in Hulu’s history, pulling in nearly 9 million global views in its first five days on Disney+ and Hulu combined. The Walt Disney Company confirmed the figures on March 3, 2026 — placing Badlands at #1 for film premieres on Hulu since Prey.
The film was directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, per 20th Century Studios. The story follows Thia (Fanning) and a young Predator outcast (Schuster-Koloamatangi) who team up on a distant planet in pursuit of the ultimate adversary. The film debuted in theaters on November 7, 2025, before arriving on streaming in early 2026.

The result continues a trend for the franchise. Prey, the previous installment also directed by Trachtenberg, became one of the most-watched Hulu originals ever at the time of its debut. Badlands now claims the top premiere spot on the platform since that film.

Alongside the streaming debut, Disney launched the Predator Creators Collection — 15 new videos now available on both Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. The collection features creator-led content offering behind-the-scenes insights and fresh perspectives on the film and the franchise’s legacy.

The Badlands numbers reflect a strong stretch for Disney’s streaming portfolio. Zombies 5 was recently greenlit for Disney+, and Disney won 22 Children’s and Family Emmy Awards — both signs of a platform firing on multiple fronts.
