Disney revealed a new Padmé Amidala Limited Edition Collector Doll launching May 4, 2026, on DisneyStore.com at 8 a.m. PST.
Collectors can expect a design based on Padmé’s lakeside look from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, with Disney also saying the doll is coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

The release
Disney Parks Blog said the Padmé Amidala doll launches at 8 a.m. PST on May 4 through DisneyStore.com. The timing connects the release to Disney’s Star Wars Day merchandise push.
Disney said the doll will also be coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The post did not list an in-park arrival date or price.
The design
The doll is based on Padmé Amidala’s lake scene outfit from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Disney described the look as using flowing fabric, soft ombre coloring and delicate sparkling accents.
Disney said the cape embroidery is inspired by Naboo architecture and the style of Naboo’s written language. The necklace, arm cuffs and back-of-dress charm are made of metal with an enamel fill inspired by mother of pearl.

The process
Design Manager J told Disney Parks Blog that fabric scale was one of the challenges. Chiffon can drape easily on a person, but Disney said the same material can appear stiffer on a doll because of the smaller scale.
Disney also said it takes about one year to move a doll like this from concept through approvals, development and production. The team had not previously created a doll head for Natalie Portman, so Disney said the head sculpt was built from scratch.
What to know
The key planning detail is the online launch time: May 4, 2026, at 8 a.m. PST. Fans looking for the doll in the parks should watch for separate Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort availability details.
