Disney’s America 250 celebration starts Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at EPCOT with Soarin’ Across America, then expands across Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Store, and Disney programming through Fourth of July weekend.
For park guests, the useful part is the timing: new Soarin’ dates, Fourth of July fireworks, a July 4 flyover, patriotic entertainment, limited-time food, and Americana merchandise are all packed into the same holiday stretch.

Soarin’ Across America
Soarin’ Across America is now open at EPCOT. The new version of the flight simulator sends guests over American natural landmarks and cityscapes with a new arrangement of the Soarin’ score by composer Bruce Broughton.
Disney California Adventure gets the same attraction on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Beginning July 16, the Disneyland Resort queue adds The Soarin’ Challenge Across America, a National Geographic trivia game that uses a QR code and a digital leaderboard. At EPCOT, trivia questions from the same challenge appear in the queue.

Park celebrations
Walt Disney World will run “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at Magic Kingdom and the “Heartbeat of Freedom” finale after “Luminous The Symphony of Us” at EPCOT. The resort also has patriotic Spaceship Earth lighting, Voices of Liberty performances from July 3 through July 5, the Electrical Water Pageant, character experiences, Main Street decor, food, beverages, and merchandise.
The U.S. Air Force Reserve’s 920th Rescue Wing from Patrick Space Force Base is scheduled to fly over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 4, weather permitting.
Disneyland Resort will add a pre-show fireworks tribute before World of Color, the return of “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” Dapper Dans in patriotic attire, military band performances through July 5, and an America-themed cavalcade from July 3 through July 5.

Food, merch, and cruise
Disney’s Fourth of July food lineup includes red, white, and blue desserts and drinks at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The list includes a Red, White, and Blue Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hollow, a S’morin’ Across America Milk Shake at Sunshine Seasons, a Rocket Soda at Disneyland Park, and a 250th Celebration Dipped Mickey Bar at Disney California Adventure.
The Sam Eagle Bucket is available at both U.S. Disney resorts while supplies last, with a limit of two per person, per transaction. Disney Store also has red, white, and blue styles online and at the parks.
Disney Cruise Line is adding Fourth of July weekend offerings on select sailings, including patriotic food and beverage, character dance parties, Magic Shots, towel animals, and fireworks at sea where available. Select Disney Wish and Disney Dream sailings in 2026 also include a $250 onboard credit offer for U.S. military personnel.

Programming
Disney is also using its broadcast platforms for the milestone. ABC Entertainment, ABC News, ESPN, National Geographic, Disney+, Hulu, FX, Freeform, ABC News Live, and ABC-owned stations are part of a 24-hour programming push from the evening of July 3 through July 4.
“Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness” is streaming now on Disney+ and Hulu. The two-hour special is hosted by Deborah Roberts from Walt Disney World and Will Reeve from Disneyland.
The practical takeaway: Soarin’ Across America is the new ride anchor, while July 3 through July 5 is the busiest window for fireworks, patriotic entertainment, food, and resort-wide extras.
