Shanghai Disney Resort has confirmed an opening date for its third hotel. Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel opens December 16, 2026, with reservations beginning at 00:00 on November 6, 2026. During its 10th anniversary celebration on June 16, 2026, the resort revealed the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel and shared a fresh rendering of the building. The theme draws from the fabled Wishing Star, the symbol that already runs through Shanghai Disneyland’s storytelling and its central lake.
Disney describes the property as a 400-room deluxe hotel, with Art Nouveau-inspired design and views of Shanghai Disneyland and Wishing Star Park.
What is the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel?
It’s the third themed hotel at Shanghai Disney Resort, joining the 420-room Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and the 795-room Toy Story Hotel. Both opened with the resort in 2016. At 400 rooms, the Enchanted Star Hotel becomes the smallest of the three, positioned as a deluxe property on the shores of Wishing Star Lake with views of Shanghai Disneyland.
The design draws on Shanghai’s cultural heritage, with Art Nouveau influences and the Wishing Star running through the property as a guiding theme. Related: the newest U.S. park additions.
When does the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel open?
The resort has confirmed a December 16, 2026 opening. Reservations begin at 00:00 on November 6, 2026. Construction broke ground on August 31, 2023, and the building has since taken shape along Wishing Star Lake. The resort says the hotel will add new indoor and outdoor recreation, plus fresh dining, shopping, and entertainment options for guests planning multi-day visits.

Should you plan a trip around it?
The official room images identify Enchanted Star Club Room and Enchanted Star Deluxe Room accommodations. The resort’s June announcement also confirms new themed indoor and outdoor pool areas.
