The Amazon is coming to Howl-O-Scream this fall, and it’s going to be a dangerous trip. Busch Gardens is bringing two all-new haunted houses inspired by the Sony Pictures movie Anaconda to its Tampa Bay and Williamsburg parks. This marks the first time the film has been licensed by Sony Pictures to be integrated into a Halloween event. Guests will be sent deep into the jungle to search for a missing film crew, but the search quickly turns into a struggle for survival.
At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, the attraction is named Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape. Meanwhile, visitors at Busch Gardens Williamsburg will encounter Anaconda: Dead on Arrival. Both haunted houses offer unique tales while honoring the legend of the iconic film. The slithering haunts pull guests inside the world of Anaconda, setting the stage for a spooky experience that crosses into dangerous territory.
When the Anaconda Haunted Houses Open
The all-new Anaconda inspired houses will premiere on September 11 at both Howl-O-Scream Tampa Bay and Williamsburg. Swanson said the addition of Anaconda, combined with all-new haunts and entertainment, would solidify Howl-O-Scream’s spot as one of the nation’s top Halloween events.
“Our fans are always looking for new and immersive scares and bringing Anaconda to our Howl-O-Scream event elevates the experience at both Busch Gardens parks,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Resorts.
