Disney has revealed the main lobby, three dining locations and a lounge planned for Disney Lakeshore Lodge. The new concept art puts a glowing river beneath the lobby floor, glass leaves overhead and sweeping Bay Lake views at the center of the resort.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge is projected to open in summer 2027 on the south shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. The latest reveal builds on Disney’s April look at the resort and the first look at The Wetlands pool area.
Inside the Disney Lakeshore Lodge lobby
Floor-to-ceiling windows will fill the lobby with natural light and frame views of The Wetlands. The space takes inspiration from the music and storytelling of Pocahontas, with a shimmering fiber-optic river illuminating the floor and a blown-glass sculpture suspended above the room.
The overhead piece is inspired by “Colors of the Wind” and includes hundreds of suspended glass leaves. Custom tapestries draw from landscapes in the film, while river-recovered cypress wood will appear as an accent throughout the lobby furnishings.
Three dining locations are coming to the resort
The dining lineup ranges from a lakefront table-service restaurant to an all-day marketplace and a poolside bar and grill. Each location carries its own visual theme tied to the landscapes and woodland setting around the resort.
Moonglade
Moonglade will be a lakefront table-service restaurant serving dishes made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Floor-to-ceiling windows will provide water views and frame the cypress trees along Bay Lake.
Bay Lake Provisions
Bay Lake Provisions will operate as an all-day quick-service marketplace with specialty coffee and fresh fare. The concept includes an open kitchen, along with woodland character details inspired by Disney classics hidden throughout the space.
Paint Out Point Bar & Grill
Paint Out Point Bar & Grill will sit near Lakeshore Lagoon and serve shareable bites and specialty beverages. Its design takes cues from plein-air painting and includes original Imagineer artwork inspired by the landscapes around Bay Lake.
Dandelion Terrace will overlook Bay Lake
Dandelion Terrace will give guests a lounge with views of Magic Kingdom fireworks across Bay Lake. A two-story gallery will display archival artwork, including pieces from Fantasia, while dandelion-shaped light fixtures and soft lighting carry the theme through the room.
The resort’s public spaces connect the indoor concepts to the surrounding water and woodland views. Disney Lakeshore Lodge remains projected to open in summer 2027.
