Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be a Tier 1 Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction when it opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer, according to an update on the Walt Disney World website.
The Muppets overlay of the indoor coaster will slot into the same Lightning Lane tier as its predecessor, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which permanently closed on March 2, 2026. Tier 1 at Hollywood Studios currently includes Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Slinky Dog Dash.
What Tier 1 Means for Planning
With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, guests at Hollywood Studios can choose up to three experiences with pre-selected arrival windows. Only one of those three can come from the Tier 1 group. That means guests will need to decide between the Muppets coaster, Slinky Dog Dash, Smugglers Run, or Runaway Railway for their single Tier 1 pick.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance remains exclusive to Lightning Lane Single Pass and is not included in the Multi Pass tiers.
