Hallmark Wraps Filming on First-Ever Disney World Christmas Movie

Hallmark has officially wrapped filming on Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, the first-ever Christmas movie shot entirely on location at Walt Disney World. Disney Parks shared the announcement via the Hallmark Channel’s official Instagram, with the cast gathering in front of Cinderella Castle to celebrate the end of production.

The film stars Lacey Chabert, Travis Van Winkle, Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Dufee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna in a cameo role. Filming began in December 2025 and wrapped in late February 2026 – nearly three months on property.

What’s the Movie About?

The film follows Lindsey (Chabert), who brings her extended family to Walt Disney World for a Christmas trip. Her plans for a perfect holiday get complicated when she discovers her room is right next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a guy from a recent disastrous first date who’s also visiting with his family.

As the two keep crossing paths around the resort, things start to thaw. A wish Lindsey made at the Cinderella Fountain may be working its magic after all.

Where Was It Filmed?

Production was spotted throughout Walt Disney World during the filming window, including reportedly Toy Story Land and multiple locations around the resort. The movie will premiere as part of Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas in late 2026.

This marks a first for both Disney World and Hallmark – no Christmas movie had ever been shot on-property at a Disney park before this project. Given how recognizable the resort locations are, it could make for some interesting viewing for Disney fans who know the property well.
