Flowering cherry trees and serviceberries stand out for their early blooming. From the start of spring, they offer an essential resource when pollinators need it most.
Japanese pagoda trees are also part of the plant mix. Disneyland Paris says the trees naturally produce flowers rich in nectar, attracting a wide diversity of insects. The resort also notes that the trees are drought-resistant and help enrich soil by fixing nitrogen, which supports plant growth.
The resort released photos showing how the plantings are being folded into the park design as Walt Disney Studios Park continues its transformation into Disney Adventure World. The landscaping is meant to elevate the guest experience without separating the visual design from the resort’s environmental goals.
