SeaWorld San Diego just launched its Fourth of July Sale, and the park is calling it the best offer of the year. Buy a single-day ticket and get a second visit free, or buy an annual pass and get a second pass free. The sale starts June 15, 2026, and runs for a limited time.
The deal is tied to America’s 250th birthday. If you were already planning a couple of San Diego trips this summer, the math is simple: one ticket covers two visits, and one annual pass covers two people. SeaWorld is positioning the pass as the better value, and for good reason. Pass Members get unlimited visits, free parking, free guest tickets, special event access, and member-only savings.
What dates and events are part of this?
The Fourth of July Celebration lands on July 4 with a fireworks spectacular. On the mornings of July 3 through 5, the park holds a Flag Ceremony honoring military members. SeaWorld also hosts its monthly Military Appreciation Weekend, built around families showing support for service members and veterans.
There’s also a beer deal worth noting. Through August 18, guests 21 and older can grab a seven-ounce ice-cold beer for $1 at High Tide Brews. That’s a summer-long perk, not a Fourth of July-only thing.
What’s new at the park this summer?
The headline new attraction is Shark Encounter, which opened earlier this year. It puts guests face to fin with sharks from 11 species in an interactive walk-through that moves from shallow coastal water down to the deep ocean. If you’re bringing kids who love anything with teeth, this is the one to plan around. It helps to arrive early so you can reach the new exhibit before crowds build.
Entertainment got a big refresh too. SeaWorld added two new daytime animal presentations, including Dolphin Adventures, plus three new nighttime animal shows that began June 12, 2026. The park also debuted Ocean of Dreams, its first drone spectacular, on May 22, 2026, lighting up the night sky. Fan-favorite productions return alongside the Summer Concert Series, where chart-topping artists from the 90s and early 2000s take the stage.
For park guests planning a visit
If two visits are realistic for you this summer, the buy-one-get-one ticket is the easy call. If you’re a local or you visit San Diego often, the annual pass two-for-one is the stronger play, since the second pass effectively halves the per-person cost and unlocks unlimited summer trips. Either way, the offer is limited-time, so it’s not something to sit on.
What is still unknown?
SeaWorld has not announced an end date for the sale beyond calling it “limited time,” so there’s no hard deadline to plan against yet. The press email also did not list exact ticket prices, the Summer Concert Series lineup, or which artists are performing on which dates. If you want specifics on shows or pricing, the official site is the place to confirm before buying. For event-night planning, knowing the nighttime animal experiences and drone show schedule helps you decide whether to stay late.
What to know: the Fourth of July Sale is live now, the second ticket or pass is free, and the strongest value is the annual pass two-for-one if you’ll visit more than once. Lock it in before the limited-time window closes.
