Universal Orlando Adds New HHN Hotel Lounges and The Keyholder Bar

Universal Orlando is extending Halloween Horror Nights into select hotels this fall. The press release is dated Aug. 12, 2026.

Three new lounges headline the hotel overlay. Loews Royal Pacific Resort turns Jake’s American Bar into Universal Monsters Laguna Lounge. Universal says it is a mid-century modern tiki hideaway. Décor includes Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, and the Invisible Man.

Universal Stella Nova Resort’s Nova Bar is a research exhibit gone wrong. A mysterious substance has breached containment. Hazmat teams are in the story.

Universal Terra Luna Resort’s Luna Bar becomes contested ground at night. Two rival alien species face off on opposite sides of the bar.

The Keyholder Bar is also new. It sits to the left of the Music Plaza Stage at the event. Hotel guests, Passholders, and Universal Rewards Cardmembers attending Halloween Horror Nights get in. It is not limited to hotel guests.

Pumpkin Lord Bar is back at Swizzle Lounge at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort. The official still shows the pumpkin wall there. The overlay also expands into the lobby.

The Thirsty Fish returns at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Guests step onto a fishing ship frozen by an ice storm.

Alien overlords have taken over barVentura at Universal Aventura Hotel.

Hard Rock Hotel brings back Night of the Living Shred in the lobby and Veranda Bar. Night of the Living Shred expands to Veranda Bar this year. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort keeps the seaside Gothic Manor, with a new satellite bar. Sunset Lounge at Dockside Inn and Suites has driftwood sculptures from the briny deep.

All hotels get specialty cocktail menus. Select hotels will serve late-night bites.

Hotel guests get Early Park Admission during the day. They also get a priority Halloween Horror Nights entrance from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Complimentary transportation runs before and after the event.

Guests can save up to 30% on stays of five nights or more at participating Universal Orlando hotels. Passholders can also save up to 30% at participating hotels.

Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights from Friday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026. Shark’s HHN 35 dates story has the event window. Universal Studios Florida becomes the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, with Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow. The event has 10 all-new haunted houses.
